How to Rent

How to rent a room an apartment/ at Fujimi House. Please follow the steps below from the first time user to the process of move out.

  • STEP1Search

  • STEP2Reservation

    When you reserve a room, please pay the deposit of JPY30,000 (The maximum JPY 20,000 is refundable when you move out if there is no missing item or damages in the room.)
    We will contact you after we cofrim the payment of the deposit fee.
    *Please move in within 1 month after completing the deposit fee.
    Please be reminded that your reservation will only be completed after we confirm the deposit. The minimum contract term is from 1 month. Please tell us your move out date if you have already decided when you reserved a room.
    You could pay the deposit by bank transfer or through online payment (VISA/MASTER/JCB are all acceptable).You also can pay by Cash or VISA/MASTER/JCB at the Fujimi House office.

    ※Your deposit fee will not be refunded even if you cancel your reservation.

  • STEP3Sign the contract/ Pay the first month rent

    Please pay your first month’s rent by VISA/MASTER/JCB or cash at Fujimi House office (Shibuya) during our office hours: 9:00am~17:00, sign up a lease agreement and receive your key at our office on the day you move in.
    The room key is provided after competing a contract.

    ※Please bring your valid passport for a contract. Please bring a foreigner registration card with you as well if you have it. We make a photocopy of them at the contract.

    ※The deposit fee is changed to be as a deposit automatically on compeleting the contract.

    ※A next month rent fee must be paid to gurantee your stay. You also can pay by Cash or VISA/MASTER/JCB card.

    ※Your valid passport with a valid visa (One month or longer landing permission also acceptable) is also required. If you have foreigner registration card please bring it with you too. We will make a photocopy of them.

  • STEP4Move in

    You can move in immediately after the contract.
    We will show you how to get to the room and give you a map. Please feel free to contact us if you have any problems with your room or any questions.

  • STEP5Agreement renewal and rent

    The lease will be automatically renewed for one more month by the due date of rent unless the move out request notice is submitted to us or is notified through Fujimi House homepage 21 days in advance.
    (For example: You sign the contract on 5,January. The rent expiration date will be 4,February. So you should pay a next month rent before 4,February.)

  • STEP6Move out

    When you have decided to move out, please inform us at least 21 days prior to your move out day. (For example: If your move out date is on 5, February. You should inform us your move out date by 15, January at the latest.)
    On the move out day, a Fujimi House staff will check the room together with a customer before exchanging a room key and a refund of the deposit fee.
    If everything is found in a order after checking a room, the amount of JPY20,000 will be returned after deducting JPY10,000 from the deposit fee.

    You can pay by VISA / MASTER / JCB through on-line payment or by coming to our office.

  2. Pay by international bank transfer.
